KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN –  DO NOT ALLOW UNAPPLIED LIQUID TO FREEZE

GENERAL INFORMATION

TempoCamo coatings are designed to provide nonporous surfaces with temporary color and protection. TempoCamo dries to a tough flexible vinyl film which can be easily removed by peeling manually or using a scrub brush with warm water. TempoCamo is formulated to protect against environmental hazards, salt corrosion, bugs, tar, metal shavings and physical protection from minor nicks, scratches and abrasion.

APPLICATION

Always test all surfaces to be coated with TempoCamo by applying a small amount to an area and allowing to dry thoroughly. TempoCamo may be applied by brush, spray or roller. Must be applied between 65°F and 160°F. After curing, TempoCamo will become brittle and harder to remove at freezing temperatures and may melt at temperatures over 160°F. Keep out of moving parts.

BEST APPLICATION

Prepare surface to be coated. Always test a small spot to test how it will be affected. Some discoloration may occur. Open carefully.

Stir thoroughly to mix color and achieve consistent viscosity. Colors can be mixed in small amounts to achieve desired tints or colors.

Apply like paint by using a brush.

Allow TempoCamo to dry before handling. Drying times will vary depending on humidity and temperature. TempoCamo may be dry to the touch for recoating in less than one hour at 85°F. For best results allow to cure overnight before handling. TempoCamo can be force-dried with warm air.

After curing, TempoCamo will provide a temporary, durable coating. But it has its limitations. Experiment and test the coating on your item to determine how much wear it can handle. Remember that is designed to peel off after use. Ambient temperatures can affect removal. At lower temperatures, cured TempoCamo will become brittle and chip off when removed. Allow cured TempoCamo to warm to room temperature to peel off in larger pieces. At higher temperatures, TempoCamo will melt. Do not apply to items that will exceed 160°F.

When uncured in liquid state, it acts like paint. Spills, drips and mistakes may smear and be messy. Most times it will be easier to remove if you let it dry/cure. Then, you can peel or scrape it off. You can usually scrape it off with your thumbnail or a toothpick. Do not use a hard or sharp objects that may damage what’s beneath the coating.

Keep away from moving parts. When uncured and/or wet, TempoCamo may seep or run into seams or openings between moving parts. Do not allow TempoCamo to affect the operation of tools or equipment by allowing TempoCamo into places that glue, paint, or liquid should not be allowed to enter. Uncured TempoCamo may conduct electricity.
